New Exhibit Explores Gender Designation

Animation storyboard artist and illustrator Mo McMasters legally acquired a new name and gender designation during the course of creating art for “Take a Shot Every Time I Say ‘Liminal.’” This exploratory show is the fruit of that transition. Just as the map is not the territory, neither is art reflective of reality. But art can expose reality’s malleability. This has been the central theme for McMasters’ creative practice.
